Local Processing and Storage

Doczy primarily processes files on your device. Images, PDFs, and scanned documents are stored locally and are not uploaded to our servers.

Camera Permission (CAMERA)

  • Purpose: Capture images for scanning and PDF creation

  • Processing: On-device only

  • Required: No (optional permission)

Storage Permissions

  • Permissions Used:

    • READ_MEDIA_IMAGES (Android 13+)

    • READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 12 and below)

    • WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 10 and below)

  • Purpose:

    • Access images for PDF creation

    • Save generated PDF files

  • Storage Location: Data remains on your device

  • Required: No (optional permission)

Internet and Network Access

  • Permissions: INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
